Micah began teaching languages in 2008 in Mexico, researching to find the best way to get others fluent in English (and herself fluent in Spanish!). After this period of research, she brought her findings to Dallas, where she started Fluency Corp, training instructors to give fluency to clients at American Airlines, Hitachi, Samsung, and many more international and local companies. Micah was disappointed in the formal lessons that she received in high school and college, and she knew for a fact that these classes did not give students the ability to SPEAK the language, because she couldn't speak it after 10 years of these classes.

This is why she created her unique style of conversational teaching instead of grammar focused, while also getting to each student personally and finding out what makes them tick in order to plan each conversational lesson. Using this method Micah became fluent in French and is currently working on Japanese and Russian. She says that Russian will be the last language she learns, but... we don't 100% believe her. Languages are her life, and she wants others to experience this shift in thinking upon learning a 2nd language. She hopes to get all Americans bilingual and is ready for the challenge. Fluency Corp operates throughout the US and throughout the world via online platforms.
