    David Royce, Senior International Trade Specialist of U.S. Commercial Service

    Mr. Royce was selected to lead the U.S. Commercial Service’s Africa and Middle East team working concurrently with his responsibilities as Senior International Trade Specialist. The Africa and Middle East team brings together the resources of U.S. Commercial Service offices, U.S. Department of State sections at U.S. Embassies in the region and U.S. Patent & Trademark offices in the region, providing U.S. firms with a single point of access to key contacts, regional trade events, intellectual property rights protection, extensive services and research covering markets throughout the region. The team is comprised of both domestic and foreign staff of multiple agencies. Mr. Royce develops strategy and manages budgets for both allocated and deposit funds.

    For all foreign markets, Mr. Royce counsels U.S. companies in all industries on developing effective market entry and sales strategies, U.S. export control regulations, protecting intellectual property, foreign import regulations and trade finance options.  Mr. Royce provides investigation services on potential foreign businesses partners utilizing a worldwide network of specialist in the U.S. Commercial Service and U.S. Department of State.  Mr. Royce reports investigation findings such as capabilities, legitimacy and financial strength of a potential foreign business partner, a listing of foreign company’s key officers, senior management and potential liabilities.  Mr. Royce provides business matchmaking with prescreened foreign private and government partners and provides commercial diplomacy.

    Mr. Royce has 14 years’ experience with the U.S. Commercial Service.  He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration and management from Old Dominion University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in international marketing management from the University of Dallas.

Eggleston was previously a Partner in the Financial Advisory Services (FAS) practice at a Big Four accounting firm.


    Blok has engaged in a variety of litigation matters involving patent, trademark, and copyright infringement, theft of trade secrets, business valuation, business interruption, bankruptcy, and fraud. Blok was previously a Manager in the Dispute and Investigations Practice at Navigant Consulting, Inc. and a Senior Associate at CRA International, Inc.
